CLAMS

Pet clams are great because they don't have to have a cage and you don't have to clean their water very often, and you don't have to buy special food for them. They also take care of themselves. They don't need special treatment.

They are very fun to watch and they're great for people that like animals but can't take care of a a pet.

What Do I Expect From Middle School?

Next week I start middle school. I feel very nervous and scared because I heard that middle school is very harsh and hard, for example pop quizzes. I'm also nervous about homework, a lot of people say that middle school has a huge amount of homework. The locker worries me the most because my locker might be on one side of the school, while my math or any class is on the other side of the school! But what worries me the most is the Big Huge Schooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool! When I went to the tour around the middle school, because the middle school was so huge I was going sooooooo crazy. But on the bright side I could meet new friends and, best of all I get to have more than one teacher. Having more than more teacher is good because you could know more than one teacher in my first day --yay! ^.^ !!!!

My Vacation in North Carolina

For two weeks I went to Jacksonville, North Carolina. The waves at the beach were strong, and I found a lot of shark teeth, and we went to the aquarium^.^ In the aquarium I have seen eels , sharks, ect...... I have touched sting rays and Seaturtles, and Horseshoe crabs.

We got to see a lot of our relatives, and my cousin's dog was a lot of fun. Best of all I got to have pet clams!

I brought my clams home with me and I named them Jerry, Larry, Herry, Carry, Marry, Zarry. They're tiny baby clams, and I put them in a cooler and brought them on a plane. They are about an inch long, (my smallest clam is about a half inch) and I keep them in a plastic bottle, so I could see them really easily, but soon I am going to move them to a bigger plastic bottle.

What's interesting about these fellows is that I can see them move themselves with a foot. When I tip the bottle, they try to go back into the sand. As they grow they change their sex, from boy to girl. They have a neck, a mouth, a nose, and an anus. But they don't have a brain or eyes.

spiderwick mythical field guide (the griffin)

The field guide is a great book to learn about the mythical creatures and the more you read you can not stop. Today I am going to tell you about the griffin. The griffin is half eagle and half lion and it is also the king of the skies. They fly up high in the sky and look for food and their bones are commonly found. Sometimes scientists get a griffin bone mixed up with a dinosaur's bone. Poison does not effect griffins and their really strong to dragons, also the griffins hate horses.!_!
