CRASH by Jerry Spinelli Book Review

Crash is a story about a boy who lives in South Carolina. He is in seventh grade, and his nickname is Crash. The characters are Crash, his family, and his friends Mike and Penn. Crash is a terrible bully, but he becomes a nicer person later on in the book. For example, Crash took Penn's turtle, but later he gives it back.
The themes of this book are friendship and caring. Crash and Mike were best friends since they were in first grade. Crash shows a lot of care for his grandfather, for example when his grandfather has a stroke, Crash went down as fast as he could and called the cops.
I think that this is a great book because there is a lot of dramatic stuff. For example when Crash actually hugged his grandpa, when he had a stroke, it was a powerful moment because Crash would never have done that before. He had changed a lot.
